Goal Hungry HHS U14s Defeat Local Rivals
8th December 2019
Goal hungry HHS u14s defeat local rivals Kinsale Community School in their maiden outing of the county championship. Hammies edged KCS in Kilbrittain in a game that contained 8 goals with only 15 points being scored between the two sides. Michael ... Conroy of Bandon proved his efficiency grabbing an impressive 3-2 on the day with a powerful centre back performance from Jack Cullinane preventing backlash from a determined Kinsale side. The solid full and half backline performance kept the prolific KCS forward line to 2-9 on the day. A solid second half midfield performance saw Bandon's Stephen Murphy convert 3 points from play with his midfield partner Conor Galvin finishing a goal effort in the first half. Daniel Coakley of Courcey Rovers claimed an efficient 1-1 on the day from centre forward accompanied by wing forward Donnagh O'Driscoll who fired a first half effort over the bar whilst fellow wing forward Charlie Twomey earned HHS a large amount of possession. Oisin McCarthy would later finesse the sliothar with his foot to claim Hamilton's sixth goal of the day. A goaline stop from keeper Fionn Murphy further limited KCS attacking prowess. Well done to all players and Coaches Mr.M.Murphy and Ms.C.Murphy and 4th Year backroom team. By Jack Crowley (TY Media Team) Read moreLess
